Discussion of results of customer satisfaction for health care services with the Ministry of Health

The Iraqi Institute for Economic Reform organised two workshops to discuss the results of the survey for health care services in Baghdad, it was chaired by Dr Ali Khudhair Anbury.
The first workshop took place on Wednesday 18th May 2011, to present and discuss the results of the survey to hospitals. In attendance were more than 20 representatives from managements and Public health departments in the Ministry of Health and health specialist from Alkarkh, Alrassafa and Madinat al Teb health departments in addition to managing directors of various hospitals that took part in the survey attended the workshop.
The second workshop took place on Sunday 29th May 2011 to present the results of the survey to primary health care centers, where the event was attended by a number of representatives from different departments in the Ministry of Health, representatives from various divisions in the Karkh and Alrassafa health departments and managing directors of various hospitals that took part in the survey.
The survey targeted 11 hospitals and 12 centers for primary health care where 3300 patients completed the survey. This study is the first of its kind carried out by a local civil society organization. Also what make this survey is unique that it was carried out by a local team chaired by the international expert, Dr. Ali Khudhair Anbury, former advisor to the Committee of Health and Environment in the Iraqi parliament.
