Customer perception of services provision in Baghdad

The Iraqi Institute for Economic Reform organised a seminar entitled “The quality of healthcare services: Customer perception of services provision in Baghdad” in order to contribute to the planning of raising the standards of health services in Iraq,. The study relies on the questionnaire that was completed by patients which was carried out in a number of health centres and hospitals between the month of January and May 2011. The team was led by Dr. Ali Anbori supported by the Ministry of health.

The seminar was attended by a Members of Parliament, government officials, experts from the health sector, academics and Iraqi Civil society representatives.
The seminar covered the following topics:
    - Announcement of the questionnaire’s result on the patients’ satisfaction of the health sector services in health centres and hospitals in Baghdad.
    - Discussing the results and providing the data required to raise the quality of the health system.
